Where do you get your displays?
In business since 1968, we design and build all of our displays
at our manufacturing plant in Eastern Tennessee. We do use
imported lights (there are none manufactured in the U.S.), but
we use the top commercial grade.
Will you build a display that I design?
Yes, we do extensive custom design work. In order for us to
price a custom display, we must have a rough sketch
illustrating the size and colors you prefer and how the unit
will be mounted. Custom orders are accepted throughout the
year and are completed during the first nine months of the year.
Do you sell patterns of your displays?
No. All of our designs are copyrighted and owned exclusively by Long Displays.
Can I order a display in a color different from the colors
shown?
Yes. Call us at 1-800-732-NOEL and we will be happy to discuss
color changes.
Do I have to pay sales tax?
An order from outside the state of Tennessee,
being shipped outside of Tennessee, is not taxable in Tennessee. Orders
from within Tennessee to be shipped within Tennessee are taxable at 9
1/2% unless you provide us with a copy of your Tennessee tax exemption
certificate.

How will my display be shipped?
We will determine the most economical means of shipping your order
and use either UPS or motor freight. We utilize a system which allows
our larger displays to fold, thereby reducing the size. The shipping
box may also be used to store the display between seasons.
Are the lights already attached to the displays?
Yes, each display comes with the lights attached and ready to use.
How long will the display lights last?
We use UL-listed, commercial-grade light strands. The light
bulbs are rated for 2,500+ hours of use. If one bulb goes out,
the rest of the set continues to light. If a bulb does burn out,
simply replace it with one of the extras provided.
We can also use LED lamps on any model which are
more expensive but are rated to last 100,000 hrs and can save up to 80 or 90% on
energy costs.
Where do I get replacement bulbs?
We send 10% extra bulbs and other supplies with each display.
We also stock replacement bulbs.
How difficult is it to install a display?
Installation is simple, it only takes a few minutes. We provide
illustrated installation instructions and mounting hardware
with each display.
How resistant are your displays to rust and/or paint peeling?
All of our displays are powder-coated, rather than painted.
Powder coat is a baked-on finish, which is very hard and will
last for years without peeling or rusting.
If my display needs repair, what do I do?
We offer a complete refurbishing service. Call us at 1-800-732-NOEL
to discuss the repairs needed. You can ship the display to us by
UPS or motor freight. We will determine the cost of repair, call
you for approval, repair the display and return it to you.
